Chapter 01directed ai video
JAYYSLAB
Direct it, fix it, or don't post it.
01 the lab
The anti-AI crowd is right about one thing.
Most AI video isn't directed. It's generated until something looks okay, then posted. The rest is whatever trended last week, copied shot for shot with nothing original in it. The best tools anyone has ever had, and they're making the same video as everyone else.
I direct everything I make. Crime stories, a cyberpunk world, anthology shorts, confessionals, original characters. Every scene is planned before a single frame renders. Every cut has a reason. Every character holds from the first shot to the last.
Nobody in AI choreographs a fight like I do.
Every hit is designed, every reaction is earned, and the blood stays on the same side of the face ten cuts later. If you've seen an AI fight that looked like two people flailing in a blender, you've seen exactly what I refuse to ship.
I push every scene as far as Seedance can take it. Sometimes the model just can't do it yet (it still can't land an elbow drop off the top rope), and when that happens, I cut it instead of passing it off.
If it looks like slop, it doesn't leave the lab. That's my standard, and the biggest creators in this space should be held to it too.
- Directed.Every frame has a reason. If I can't say why it's there, it's gone.
- Choreographed.Every hit is designed. No flailing, no floating, no blender fights.
- Rejected.Version five ships. Version one never leaves the lab.

You get the finished fights, opened up. The system that built them stays in the lab.
05 work with me
I'm Jayy.
From New York. Finance by day. Creative for as long as I can remember: drawing and painting first, then Blender during COVID. This year I started taking AI seriously, to see how far that craft could go with the new tools.
The lab started as a question: how far can these tools really go? The fight scenes I kept seeing looked obviously terrible, so I set out to do better, with real choreography, real storytelling and a standard I could hold myself to.
I just wanted to be better, and compete with the best in the space.
My tweets, opinions and feedback can sound harsh. That's because I care. If you're putting in the work, I'll help however I can, because this space only gets better when we all do. And if you want that standard on your own project, I take commissions.
